About RAF

RAF is the RAW photo format used by Fujifilm cameras. People choose it when they want the best image quality and lots of room to edit before saving or sharing.

•Great for editing: keeps the full, original photo data so you can fix exposure, color, and details with better results than JPG.
•Best choice after a Fujifilm photo shoot: use RAF as your master file, then export smaller copies for web, social, or prints.
•Not ideal for quick sharing: files are large and many phones or basic apps can’t open them—convert to JPG or PNG for everyday use.
•High quality conversions: turn RAF into JPG for small files, PNG for clean graphics, or TIFF for maximum quality editing and printing.
•Works in many photo editors, but may require dedicated software or a converter to open.
